RISD · Pratt Institute · SAIC · SVA · MICA,

About Paul Nam
Founder & Art Director, Naom Studio of Art Portfolio Review Artist Alex Shinohara — RISD, Fine Art Tito Rodrigues — RISD, Fine Art
Paul Nam received his Master of Fine Arts in Fine Art (Sculpture & New Form) from Pratt Institute,
where he studied New Form and Concept in Art under Robert Zakarian for his MFA thesis.
Since 2012, he has been actively working as a professional artist and educator in Fort Lee, New Jersey,
bridging studio practice with rigorous art education.
His professional highlights include:
- Selected Cover Artist, Circle Foundation for the Arts
(An Examination of Current Trends & Original Practices in Visual Art) - Chashama Competition Winner, exhibition on 42nd Street, Manhattan, New York
- Gold Prize, Korea National Art Competition
- Invited participant as a Korea–Japan Cultural Exchange Ambassador
- Over 10 years of annual group exhibitions and art critiques with RISD artists
- Invited lecturer and exhibiting artist at Sangmyung University, Seoul,
upon recommendation by Professor Yong-Sun Suh (Seoul National University)
